Strong, lightweight and super clear.

Our 10mm thick Polycarbonate lids are highly transparent for maximum light penetration and are both strong and lightweight providing warp resistant rigidity. It will not discolour like equivalent acrylic lids. We've also removed weight and further enhanced aesthetics by cutting out material without compromising strength.

 

Smartly positioned cut-outs to accommodate life support accessories.

Carefully considered cut-outs and finger lift covers in all the right places enable convenient access for Fish feeding, coral dosing and wave maker cable management. On models Reef S2 900 larger we've added light mount cut outs for easy fitment of end-to-end light rail mounts or an auto feeding device complete with covers that can be easily trimmed for a snug fit.

 

Protect your tank from accidental chips with 'lip protection'

The CADE lid has been designed with 'lip protection' that covers all of the exposed edges preventing accidental chipping of the Aquarium.

 

Anti-capillary elevation to reduce salt creep.

We've created a 1mm space between the tank and the lid by adding ribbing to the underside of the lip to create an air space. This reduces the capillary action that draws salt water from splashing to the outer edge of the lid where it evaporates, crystallizes and accumulates to form salt creep.
